Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,289.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alphonse Osbert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In The Evening'S Tranquility in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 52,500.00.
