Auction result well in line with expectations
The work French Brume D'Automne by Alphonse Osbert was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2007. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 7,001.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alphonse Osbert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In The Evening'S Tranquility in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 52,500.00.

Die Arbeit French Brume D'Automne von Alphonse Osbert kam im November 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 7.001,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alphonse Osbert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In The Evening'S Tranquility im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.500,00.
