Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Docks Of Paris At Dusk by Luigi Loir was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in November 2019. The price achieved of EUR 4,625.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Loir achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French les Quais De La Seine, 1900 in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 224,750.00 (€ 255,948.32).

Die Arbeit Docks Of Paris At Dusk von Luigi Loir kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.625,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luigi Loir erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French les Quais De La Seine, 1900 im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 224.750,00 (€ 255.948,32).
