This artwork by Alois von Anreiter achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2005. In the Portrait Miniatures, Objects of Vertu & Icons auction, the work A young lady seated with her hands folded on her lap, in off-the-shoulder blue silk dress with lace border and lace underdress, white gauze stole folded over her left arm, gold link bracelet, large pink rose and foliage at corsage, gold hoop earrings, bla sold for GBP 1,680 (€ 2,490) - well above the upper estim However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alois von Anreiter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work , which sold at auction in July 2018 for GBP 7,500 (€ 8,409).

Für andere Arbeiten von Alois von Anreiter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit beobachtet, die im Juli 2018 für GBP 7.500 (€ 8.409) versteigert wurde.
