Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A lady, in purple embroidered black dress with white collar and green bow tie, gold hoop earring; draped pink curtain, mountain, sky and cloud background by Alois von Anreiter was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2008. The price achieved of GBP 500 (€ 632) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as GBP 400 - 600. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alois von Anreiter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 7,500 (€ 8,409).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 500 (€ 632) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400 – 600 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alois von Anreiter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500 (€ 8.409).
