Upper estimate price exceeded by 49%

In May 2004 Christies in London held the auction AT HOME - PORTRAIT MINIATURES, OBJECTS OF VERTU, ICONS, RUSS, which included the work A young lady, in a blue dress with white sleeves, fair hair; landscape background by Alois von Anreiter. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 598 (€ 896), 49% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alois von Anreiter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 7,500 (€ 8,409).

Im Mai 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion AT HOME - PORTRAIT MINIATURES, OBJECTS OF VERTU, ICONS, RUSS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A young lady, in a blue dress with white sleeves, fair hair; landscape background von Alois von Anreiter zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 598 (€ 896) und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alois von Anreiter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500 (€ 8.409).
