In November 2007 Christies in London held the auction Important Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes, which included the work Count Stroganov, in military uniform of red-piped black coat, silver-embroidered black collar and silver epaulettes and aiguillette, black cloak with red collar over his left shoulder, wearing the Imperial Russian Orders of St. Anne (2nd class), St. by Alois Gustav Rockstuhl. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,975.55), 42% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alois Gustav Rockstuhl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unknown in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,418.73).

Im November 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes durch, in der auch die Arbeit Count Stroganov, in military uniform of red-piped black coat, silver-embroidered black collar and silver epaulettes and aiguillette, black cloak with red collar over his left shoulder, wearing the Imperial Russian Orders of St. Anne (2nd class), St. von Alois Gustav Rockstuhl zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.975,55) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alois Gustav Rockstuhl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unknown im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.418,73).
