Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sailing boats at anchor; a grey day in the Solent; a still morning, (3) by Alma Claude Burlton Cull was sold in the The Marine Sale auction at Bonhams in London in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,280.00 (€ 1,469.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Alma Claude Burlton Cull have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The German Fleet, Under Escort To Scapa Flow, After Its Surrender In November 1918 (Illustrated) in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,484.56).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.280,00 (€ 1.469,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
