The price achieved of GBP 1,280.00 (€ 1,469.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Alma Claude Burlton Cull have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The German Fleet, Under Escort To Scapa Flow, After Its Surrender In November 1918 (Illustrated) in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,484.56).
