In May 2004 Christies in London held the auction Maritime Pictures, which included the work Arundel Castle in the Solent off the Isle of Wight by Alma Claude Burlton Cull. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,075.50 (€ 1,613.65), 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alma Claude Burlton Cull have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The German Fleet, Under Escort To Scapa Flow, After Its Surrender In November 1918 (Illustrated) in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,484.56).

Im Mai 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion Maritime Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arundel Castle in the Solent off the Isle of Wight von Alma Claude Burlton Cull zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.075,50 (€ 1.613,65) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alma Claude Burlton Cull auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The German Fleet, Under Escort To Scapa Flow, After Its Surrender In November 1918 (Illustrated) im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 7.484,56).
