The result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,219.71) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Allen Tucker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mount Desert Island, Maine in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 32,200.00 (€ 20,373.30).

Die Arbeit The Dead Factory von Allen Tucker kam im September 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.219,71) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Allen Tucker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mount Desert Island, Maine im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.200,00 (€ 20.373,30).
