Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition, 1961 by Alkis Pierrakos was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in July 2008. It achieved a price of EUR 3,470.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alkis Pierrakos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek Abstracts, which sold at auction in May 2010 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,519.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition, 1961 von Alkis Pierrakos kam im Juli 2008 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.470,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Alkis Pierrakos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek Abstracts beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.519,57) versteigert wurde.
