Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Asia: Hong Kong Edition, which included the work Follower; & Face by Alixe Fu. The price achieved of HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,550.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 26,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alixe Fu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two scarecrows in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 37,196.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Hong Kong Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Follower; & Face von Alixe Fu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.550,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 26.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alixe Fu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two scarecrows im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 37.196,16).
