Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Look At Oneself In The Mirror by Alixe Fu was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in September 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 25,971.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Alixe Fu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2019 the work Two scarecrows was auctioned for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 37,196.16).

Die Arbeit Look At Oneself In The Mirror von Alixe Fu wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 236.000,00 (€ 25.971,78) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Alixe Fu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2019 die Arbeit Two scarecrows für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 37.196,16) versteigert.
