Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Touquet Noon by Alistair Grant was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,075.50 (€ 1,625.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Alistair Grant have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2002 the work Boulogne I was auctioned for GBP 1,527.50 (€ 2,427.55).

Die Arbeit Le Touquet Noon von Alistair Grant kam im Juli 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.075,50 (€ 1.625,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
