When the work Mezzo Albero Con Mele E Perabronze With Green And Gold Patina. Executed In 1971. by Alik Cavaliere was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in October 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 11,875.00. Admittedly, works by Alik Cavaliere have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mezzo Albero Con Mele in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 85,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Mezzo Albero Con Mele E Perabronze With Green And Gold Patina. Executed In 1971. von Alik Cavaliere im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 11.875,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alik Cavaliere auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mezzo Albero Con Mele im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 85.000,00.
