Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2019 Bonhams in London held the auction MiddleEast London to Dubai Online Sale, which included this untitled work by Ali Shirazi. The price achieved of GBP 10,062.50 (€ 11,311.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ali Shirazi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October 2014 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 27,932.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2019 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion MiddleEast London to Dubai Online Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ali Shirazi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.062,50 (€ 11.311,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ali Shirazi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für USD 35.000,00 (€ 27.932,96) versteigert wurde.
