Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ali Shirazi could be acquired at Bonhams in London in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,744.49) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ali Shirazi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 27,932.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ali Shirazi konnte im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.744,49) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ali Shirazi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 27.932,96).
