In December 2013 Bukowski in Helsinki held the auction Autumn Classic Sale F169, which included the work "Thames By Twickenham, 1909" by Alfred William Finch. The result of EUR 2,500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred William Finch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Faubourg sous la neige ou Scène de rue en hiver in October this year with an auction result of EUR 113,400.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2013 führte Bukowski in Helsinki die Auktion Autumn Classic Sale F169 durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Thames By Twickenham, 1909" von Alfred William Finch zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred William Finch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Faubourg sous la neige ou Scène de rue en hiver im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 113.400,00.
