In the A Dealer Is Selling Off auction, the work The wedding contract sold for EUR 1,320.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Smith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French After The Rain in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 69,538.42).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Smith erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French After The Rain im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 69.538,42).
