Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Milly by Alfred Reginald Thomson was sold in the 20th Century British and Irish Art auction at Sothebys in Olympia in September 2006. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,770.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Reginald Thomson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The London Amateur Boxing Championship held at the Royal Albert Hall, 1948 in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 73,250.00 (€ 90,337.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Milly von Alfred Reginald Thomson wurde im September 2006 in der Auktion 20th Century British and Irish Art bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.770,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
