In March 2003 Christies in London held the auction British Art on Paper including the Collection and Studio of, which included the work Lady Seated on a Rock by Alfred John Billinghurst. The price achieved of GBP 352.50 (€ 510.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00.
