Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work "Vårlandskap från Långjohanstorp" by Alfred Ekstam was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in September 2009, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at SEK 6,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 4,800.00 (€ 470.16). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Ekstam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Autumn Day" in June 2020 with an auction result of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,737.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit "Vårlandskap från Långjohanstorp" von Alfred Ekstam im September 2009 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit SEK 6.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 4.800,00 (€ 470,16) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Ekstam erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Autumn Day" im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.737,69).
