In December 2009 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Lilla Bukowskis S190, which included the work "Mossa på stenen" by Alfred Ekstam. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 8,600.00 (€ 838.28), 72% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alfred Ekstam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Autumn Day" in June 2020 with an auction result of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,737.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 72 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2009 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Lilla Bukowskis S190 durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Mossa på stenen" von Alfred Ekstam zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 8.600,00 (€ 838,28) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Ekstam auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Autumn Day" im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.737,69).
