Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hunting in the Sahara by Alfred Dubucand was sold in the 19th Century European Art and Orientalist Art auction at Christies in New York in October 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,500.00 (€ 17,741.68). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfred Dubucand - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hunting in the Sahara, which sold at auction in October 2006 for USD 90,000.00 (€ 70,461.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hunting in the Sahara von Alfred Dubucand wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art and Orientalist Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.500,00 (€ 17.741,68) einen neuen Besitzer.
