Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait d'enfant assis avec ses chiens by Alfred Dedreux was sold in the British and European Art auction at Christies in London in December this year. The price achieved of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,772.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Dedreux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Return in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 848,000.00 (€ 1,251,914.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait d'enfant assis avec ses chiens von Alfred Dedreux wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.772,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Dedreux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Return im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 848.000,00 (€ 1.251.914,16).
