In the THE HOUSE SALE auction, the work A mother and child on a country path sold for USD 2,868.00 (€ 2,333.22) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Cornelius Howland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work War Stories in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 23,750.00 (€ 15,026.89).
