Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alfred Clive Gardiner could be acquired at Christies in London in November 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Travel and Vintage Posters auction, the work The Zoo, Regents Park Or Camden Town changed hands for GBP 750.00 (€ 896.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Clive Gardiner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hampton Court in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,351.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfred Clive Gardiner konnte im November 2010 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Travel and Vintage Posters wechselte die Arbeit The Zoo, Regents Park Or Camden Town für GBP 750,00 (€ 896,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Clive Gardiner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hampton Court im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.351,64).
