In March 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours, which included the work The Waterfront At Genoa: Children Playing On The Cannons by Alfred Charles Conrade. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,719.38), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alfred Charles Conrade have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Palace of Sargon At Khorsabad, Egypt (Illustrated); And Figures Before The Entrance To An Egyptian Temple in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,484.56).

Im März 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Waterfront At Genoa: Children Playing On The Cannons von Alfred Charles Conrade zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.719,38) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Charles Conrade auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Palace of Sargon At Khorsabad, Egypt (Illustrated); And Figures Before The Entrance To An Egyptian Temple im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 7.484,56).
