A top price for Alfred Bright - as previously expected
In November 2006 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs, which included the work The 1907 Grand National by Alfred Bright. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,851.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The 1907 Grand National is the most expensive artwork by Alfred Bright that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit The 1907 Grand National von Alfred Bright zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.851,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The 1907 Grand National das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alfred Bright, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
