Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of The Hon Mildmay Fane (1689-1715) by Alexis-Simon Belle was sold in the Important British Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in June 2008. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,020.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00.
