Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,973.15) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexis-Simon Belle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait du prince Jacques François Edward Stuart in November last year with an auction result of EUR 104,960.00.

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.973,15) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexis-Simon Belle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait du prince Jacques François Edward Stuart im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 104.960,00.
