Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Russian Nightmare, 1990 by Alexei Sundukov. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 16,058.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexei Sundukov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Essence of Being in April 2010 with an auction result of GBP 67,250.00 (€ 77,391.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Russian Nightmare, 1990 von Alexei Sundukov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 16.058,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexei Sundukov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Essence of Being im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.250,00 (€ 77.391,60).
