Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2000 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work A Vase Of Mixed Flowers On A Book In An Interior by Alexandre René Veron. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 881.25 (€ 1,506.31) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandre René Veron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Along the riverbanks in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 17,625.00 (€ 20,769.50).

Im Oktober 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Vase Of Mixed Flowers On A Book In An Interior von Alexandre René Veron zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 881,25 (€ 1.506,31) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
