Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre - 1988 by Alexandre Istrati. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,950.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexandre Istrati have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre, Circa 1950 in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 18,588.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1988 von Alexandre Istrati zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.950,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexandre Istrati auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre, Circa 1950 im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.588,00.
