Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Artcurial held the auction Orientalism, which included the work Tonkinoise by Alexandre Iacovleff. The price achieved of EUR 13,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandre Iacovleff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A dancer in Spanish costume in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 1,112,750.00 (€ 1,257,597.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Artcurial die Auktion Orientalism durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tonkinoise von Alexandre Iacovleff zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Iacovleff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A dancer in Spanish costume im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.112.750,00 (€ 1.257.597,14).
