The work Portrait of Boris Grigoriev (1886-1939) by Alexandre Iacovleff was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in June 2019. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,534.82), 63% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandre Iacovleff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A dancer in Spanish costume in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 1,112,750.00 (€ 1,257,597.14).

Die Arbeit Portrait of Boris Grigoriev (1886-1939) von Alexandre Iacovleff wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.534,82) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Iacovleff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A dancer in Spanish costume im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.112.750,00 (€ 1.257.597,14).
