Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of The Conductor Antal Doráti (1906-1988) by Alexandre Iacovleff was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,131.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandre Iacovleff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A dancer in Spanish costume in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 1,112,750.00 (€ 1,257,597.14).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of The Conductor Antal Doráti (1906-1988) von Alexandre Iacovleff wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.131,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Iacovleff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A dancer in Spanish costume im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.112.750,00 (€ 1.257.597,14).
