In the British and Continental Watercolours auction, the work Pescatori sestri Levente sold for GBP 216.00 (€ 317.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 120.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Wallace Rimington achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Taking the sacrament to a sick person, Trau, Dalmatia in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,904.75).
