Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alexander Vasilievich Kuprin could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Crimean Landscape changed hands for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,789.28) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexander Vasilievich Kuprin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn Bouquet Against Blue Background (Krylatskoe) in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 225,000.00 (€ 253,793.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alexander Vasilievich Kuprin konnte im November 2018 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wechselte die Arbeit Crimean Landscape für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.789,28) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Vasilievich Kuprin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autumn Bouquet Against Blue Background (Krylatskoe) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 225.000,00 (€ 253.793,16).
