Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Mount St George, Sudak by Alexander Vasilievich Kuprin for GBP 81,250.00 (€ 97,526.51). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Vasilievich Kuprin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn Bouquet Against Blue Background (Krylatskoe), which sold at auction in November 2018 for GBP 225,000.00 (€ 253,793.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mount St George, Sudak von Alexander Vasilievich Kuprin für GBP 81.250,00 (€ 97.526,51) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander Vasilievich Kuprin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn Bouquet Against Blue Background (Krylatskoe) beobachtet, die im November 2018 für GBP 225.000,00 (€ 253.793,16) versteigert wurde.
