Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fountain, Taormina by Alexander Mann was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in January 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,564.72). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Mann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Gleaners in October 2002 with an auction result of GBP 71,700.00 (€ 113,416.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fountain, Taormina von Alexander Mann wurde im Januar 2012 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.564,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Mann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Gleaners im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 71.700,00 (€ 113.416,76).
