Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Promenade In Narva by Alexander Karlovich Beggrov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,229.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Karlovich Beggrov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Panorama of The Neva River Left Embankment And The Strelka of Vasilievsii Island, St. Petersburg in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 156,000.00 (€ 231,496.15).
