Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Christies in London held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work Grace Before Dinner by Alexander Hohenlohe Burr. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,593.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Hohenlohe Burr achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Logan Braes in October 2002 with an auction result of GBP 37,045.00 (€ 58,598.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Scottish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grace Before Dinner von Alexander Hohenlohe Burr zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.593,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Hohenlohe Burr erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Logan Braes im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.045,00 (€ 58.598,66).
