The price achieved of GBP 3,525.00 (€ 6,025.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Dee at Braemar is the most expensive artwork by Alexander Brownlie Docharty that we have observed at auctions so far.
