Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Illustration For Alexander Pushkin'S Gabrieliad by Alexander Alexandrovich Deineka. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,238.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Alexandrovich Deineka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Coal Miner in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 3,989,600.00 (€ 4,528,789.51).
