Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master & 19th Century European Art, which included the work At The Money Lender by Alex de Andreis. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,795.29), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by Alex de Andreis have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 5,377.50 (€ 7,727.76) in June 2003 for the work The Arrival of D'Artagnan.

Im Juni 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit At The Money Lender von Alex de Andreis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.795,29) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Alex de Andreis haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.377,50 (€ 7.727,76) im Juni 2003 für die Arbeit The Arrival of D'Artagnan beobachtet.
