Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2002 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO - 19TH CENTURY ART, which included the work Veduta di Capri dalla Costiera Sorrentina, 1875 by Alessandro La Volpe. The price achieved of EUR 1,984.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,800.00 – 2,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alessandro La Volpe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Sorrentine Coast with a view of Vico Equense in the Bay of Naples in April 2002 with an auction result of USD 26,290.00 (€ 29,204.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO - 19TH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Veduta di Capri dalla Costiera Sorrentina, 1875 von Alessandro La Volpe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.984,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.800,00 – 2.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alessandro La Volpe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Sorrentine Coast with a view of Vico Equense in the Bay of Naples im April 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 26.290,00 (€ 29.204,62).
