In the 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures auction, the work Ischia at dusk sold for GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,885.78) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Alessandro La Volpe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Sorrentine Coast with a view of Vico Equense in the Bay of Naples in April 2002 with an auction result of USD 26,290.00 (€ 29,204.62).

In der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Ischia at dusk für GBP 2.640,00 (€ 3.885,78) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alessandro La Volpe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Sorrentine Coast with a view of Vico Equense in the Bay of Naples im April 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 26.290,00 (€ 29.204,62).
