This artwork by Alessandro La Volpe achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2003. In the 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART auction, the work A view on Palazzo d'Anna and the bay of Naples, the Vesuvius in the distance sold for EUR 13,145.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alessandro La Volpe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Sorrentine Coast with a view of Vico Equense in the Bay of Naples, which sold at auction in April 2002 for USD 26,290.00 (€ 29,204.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alessandro La Volpe erzielte im Oktober 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART wurde die Arbeit A view on Palazzo d'Anna and the bay of Naples, the Vesuvius in the distance für EUR 13.145,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alessandro La Volpe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Sorrentine Coast with a view of Vico Equense in the Bay of Naples beobachtet, die im April 2002 für USD 26.290,00 (€ 29.204,62) versteigert wurde.
