In June 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art Including Select Works From the Salander-O'Reilly Galleries, which included the work Saint Catherine by Alessandro Allori. The »bidding war« ended at USD 104,500.00 (€ 85,021.56), 74% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alessandro Allori have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Holy Family With The Infant Saint John The Baptist in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 557,600.00 (€ 828,164.71).

Im Juni 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art Including Select Works From the Salander-O'Reilly Galleries durch, in der auch die Arbeit Saint Catherine von Alessandro Allori zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 85.021,56) und damit 74% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alessandro Allori auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Holy Family With The Infant Saint John The Baptist im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 557.600,00 (€ 828.164,71).
